Mike Tompkins (musician)
Mike Tompkins (born July 31, 1987) is a Canadian musician from Ilderton, Ontario. He primarily records a capella covers and original songs, using only his mouth and voice. He has been partnered with Maker Studios, but is now an independent artist. Tompkins was born in Edmonton, Alberta〔http://www.miketompkins.barkcommunications.com/?i=14057&mid=1000&id=337131〕 on July 31, 1987. Since then, he has amassed more than 1 million subscribers to his channel and over 200 million views on his videos. He has collaborated with artists including Peter Hollens, the cast of Pitch Perfect, Glenn Morrison, Karmin, Bonnie McKee, Tessa Violet, Max Schneider, Bethany Mota, and The Muppets.
Tompkins has toured 21,280 miles together so far for his concerts. He has held 29 concerts in 2014, but has only held a concert this year. He has toured Los Angeles 3 times, Pittsburgh 2 times, Bridgeport, Dublin and Philadelphia once.
